New World Headquarters - Hill's Pet Nutrition

A global leader in science-led pet nutrition, Hill’s Pet Nutrition is committed to strengthening the special relationships between humans and their pets. At the forefront of research, they’ve pioneering innovative ways to enrich dogs and cats nutritional needs with sustainability in mind. Not only does this align with Henderson Building Solutions’ core values for how we approach business – with innovation and sustainability – it also formed a new collaborative partnership for Team Henderson with Hill’s (and our furry friends).

Henderson helped Hill’s with their expansion into Overland Park, KS, providing commissioning services for the relocation of their global and U.S. headquarters. This new 91,106 SF facility at their Aspiria campus features modern, functional spaces conducive to healthy work environments, designed not only for humans but also for their employees’ pets. The facility provides an open office concept and state-of-the-art technology, as well as indoor and outdoor “bark parks” for dogs. Henderson’s commissioning scope included core and shell, in addition to tenant improvement (TI) across the facility.

The building achieved LEED Gold and WELL Building – Platinum certifications and won ShawContract Design Awards’ Best of Globe award in 2024.
