After the passing of a $114 million bond in 2016, North Kansas City School District was on track to add number 22 and 23 to their elementary school line-up. Set on both schools obtaining LEED certification, the district needed an unbiased, objective view of building systems equipment operation and performance through multiple phases of a project. North Kansas City School District knew they could trust us to be just that. Commissioned systems for this project included an LG VRF, a system engineered to minimize efficiency losses and provide the lowest life cycle cost possible. Other commissioned systems included dedicated outdoor units, packaged rooftop units, exhaust fans, kitchen exhaust systems, lighting controls, and the domestic hot water system.

Northview and Rising Hill Elementary Schools were both completed on schedule to open their doors to the growing population of future leaders in Kansas City’s Northland. Each have a capacity for about 600 students and staff that can rest assured their new schools are ready to effortlessly support their ventures in learning and success.
