Providing a safe and fun experience for surrounding residents, the Excelsior Springs Community Center promotes community through fitness, social activities, sports, and events. The city chose Henderson Building Solutions to commission the new building.

This facility required close coordination of building systems throughout design and construction. High-efficiency mechanical systems with energy recovery, ventilation control, and integrated digital controls system were major components of this project. The HVAC system supporting the natatorium satisfies required space temperature while recovering heat from compressors. This helps maintain pool water temperature, humidity-control, uniform air distribution, and condensation control in highly corrosive environments. As the commissioning agent, we focused on making all of the building systems work in tandem to deliver a functioning facility for all ages.
