Henderson Companies Opens Denver Office

Denver — Henderson Companies, the 100% employee-owned parent company of Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions, is proud to open its newest office location in downtown Denver. Situated within the historic Ghost Building at 800 18th Street, Suite 200, the 4,801-square-foot space houses an inaugural group of 15 employees and is the company’s 13th national office location. While Henderson has worked on projects in Colorado since 1993, the new office will support the firm’s focus on growth in key industries like K-12 and mission critical while also providing a physical space for local employees to collaborate in Henderson’s hybrid work environment.

“As one of the country’s fastest growing regions, Denver aligns with our focus on intentional growth,” said Kevin Lewis, president and CEO of Henderson Engineers and president of Henderson Companies. “We had employees in the Denver area for the past several years, so we’re excited to officially have a new Colorado address as we expand our on-the-ground support for key clients and partners in the Rocky Mountain region. We’re eager to contribute to and draw upon Denver’s reputation as a city with a wealth of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship as we believe in the same tenets as employee-owners.”

Founded in 1970 in Kansas City, Mo., Henderson has worked on world-renowned projects like the $1.5 billion New Terminal at Kansas City International Airport and SoFi Stadium. Some of the company’s notable projects in Colorado include building monitoring at Ball ArenaThe Shops at Foothills Redevelopment in Fort Collins, and Walmart Supercenters statewide.

Erica Kerr, a senior project manager at Henderson Engineers, will serve as the Denver regional office leader, spearheading daily operations in collaboration with the Henderson Companies home office.

“Our Denver team has established great rapport during the past couple of years through various project work, social activities, and community outreach events we’ve all participated in together,” said Kerr. “We’re thrilled to have a permanent space in a vibrant part of the city where we can continue to build our team and support our regional clients.”
