Henderson Building Solutions Welcomes New Senior Electrical Estimator

Scott Neal has been hired as senior electrical estimator at Henderson Building Solutions, the construction management company owned by Henderson Engineers, a national building systems design firm. In his new role, he will work closely with engineers, designers, and clients to assess and forecast pricing for electrical installations on proposed construction projects. Neal has held similar leadership positions at various firms during a career that spans more than four decades. Twenty-five of those years were spent running a successful electrical contracting business in Southern California.

“We’re excited to have Scott as a senior member of our team and are looking forward to his contributions,” said Steve Hancock, managing director at Henderson Building Solutions. “Having an experienced estimator helps ensure designed systems are installed efficiently, which can save both time and money. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge from more than 40 years in the industry and our firm and clients will undoubtably benefit from his perspective and expertise.”

Neal comes to Henderson from Hensel Phelps, a construction firm based in Greeley, Colo. where he also served as senior electrical estimator. Notably, he worked on the new $1.9 billion south terminal at Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Fla. In addition to transportation, he has serviced a variety of business sectors throughout his career, including education, retail, foodservice, warehousing, manufacturing, and sports and recreation. Neal got his start in the contracting industry as a boy working alongside his father, who worked as both a union and non-union electrical contractor in Omaha, Neb., for 50 years.

“It’s a pleasure to join the talented team at Henderson Building Solutions,” said Neal. “There’s a strong focus on client experience, quality materials, and innovative practices at the organization, all of which I’m passionate about. I’m eager to use my extensive experience estimating large and small electrical projects to deliver the best possible results for clients.”

Neal holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
